Learning across countries
A learner living in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, the Gulf region or elsewhere may prefer an India-based tutor for language familiarity, subject experience or cost. Others may need a tutor in their own country who understands local university expectations. FortuLearn lets the learner state either preference.
What makes a useful match?
- Relevant subject or professional experience
- Comfort with the learner’s preferred language
- Availability that works across time zones
- A teaching approach appropriate to the learner’s current level
- A tutor-set rate and payment method both parties understand
Parent-led requests for learners under 18
An adult parent or legal guardian may request tutoring for a learner under 18. The adult remains the primary contact, approves introductions and decides how sessions will be supervised. Minors may not independently submit requests, buy access packs or privately exchange contact information with tutors through FortuLearn.
Before beginning lessons
Hold an introductory video call, ask for relevant evidence, agree on scope and rate in writing, and use a payment method that provides records. Learners and tutors contract and pay directly; FortuLearn does not hold lesson funds.
