Tutor Application Agreement
Effective: August 9, 2026
1. Operator
FortuLearn Network is an operating name of Fortunate SecOps Consulting Inc. (“FortuLearn”, “we”, “us”), an Ontario corporation.
2. Eligibility and authority
Applicants must be at least 18 years old, legally able to provide the proposed services, and authorized to work or conduct independent business in every jurisdiction where they do so. Applicants are responsible for any licences, registrations, taxes, insurance and professional obligations applicable to them.
3. Accurate information
You agree to provide accurate and current identity, location, language, experience, qualification and availability information. You must not claim a degree, licence, certification, employer affiliation, background check or professional status that you do not hold.
4. Review and verification
You authorize FortuLearn to review information and documents you voluntarily provide, request clarification, and contact appropriate issuing organizations or references where you separately authorize that contact. We may approve, decline, pause or remove an application or profile at our discretion for safety, accuracy, capacity or platform-fit reasons.
5. Independent provider
Approval does not create employment, partnership, agency, franchise or exclusivity. Tutors independently decide whether to accept an introduction and independently agree with learners on lesson scope, schedule, rates, payment, cancellation and refunds. Tutors may provide services elsewhere.
6. Payments and taxes
FortuLearn does not currently collect or hold tutoring payments. Tutors and learners transact directly. Tutors are responsible for invoices, payment records, taxes, currency conversion, refunds and compliance connected with their tutoring income.
7. Conduct and academic integrity
Tutors must act professionally, protect learner information, avoid harassment and discrimination, and comply with applicable law. Tutors must not impersonate a learner, take examinations for a learner, or create work intended to be falsely submitted as the learner’s own.
8. Profile content
You retain ownership of content you submit and grant FortuLearn a non-exclusive, worldwide, revocable licence to display, format and use approved profile content to operate and promote the matching service. You confirm that submitted content does not violate another person’s rights.
9. No guarantee
FortuLearn does not guarantee approval, profile visibility, introductions, learner suitability, lesson volume, payment by learners or any level of income. Applicants must independently evaluate every learner and engagement.
10. Privacy
Application information is handled under our Privacy Policy. Do not submit government identification or sensitive records through the initial website form. If further verification is required, FortuLearn will provide separate instructions.
11. Governing terms
This agreement supplements the website Terms of Use. Ontario law and applicable federal Canadian law govern this agreement, without excluding mandatory rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
12. Contact
Application questions may be submitted through the tutor-application form on the FortuLearn website. The operator is Fortunate SecOps Consulting Inc., operating as FortuLearn Network, Ontario, Canada.
